The 2026 Candlelight Processional Narrator Lineup Is Here πŸ•―οΈ

If Candlelight Processional is already a nonnegotiable stop on your holiday trip (same, honestly), Disney just gave us exactly what we've been waiting on β€” the full 2026 celebrity narrator lineup, and there are a couple of brand-new names on it this year.‍ ‍

Okay, But What Actually Is the Candlelight Processional?‍ ‍

If you've never experienced it, this isn't just background music while you walk through World Showcase β€” it's a genuine, sit-down live show, and it's one of the most special things Disney does all year.

It's held at America Gardens Theatre in the American Adventure pavilion at EPCOT, three times a night throughout the run: 4:45pm, 6:30pm, and 8pm. Here's what happens at each performance:

  • A mass choir β€” often 150+ voices made up of local school and community choirs from around the country, plus Disney's own Voices of Liberty as featured soloists β€” processes onto the stage individually, in robes, holding candles. It's genuinely one of the most beautiful entrances in any Disney show.

  • A full live orchestra accompanies the whole performance.

  • A celebrity narrator β€” always someone with a Disney connection β€” reads the actual Nativity story straight from the Bible, woven between classic Christmas songs, including the EPCOT signature piece "Rejoice with Exceeding Great Joy."

This isn't a new gimmick, either β€” Walt Disney himself started this tradition at Disneyland back in 1958. It moved to Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom in 1971, then found its permanent home at EPCOT in 1994 as it outgrew the space. So when you watch it this December, you're watching a tradition that's almost 70 years old.

Now, onto the part you're actually here for β€” who's narrating in 2026.

Here's who's narrating and when:

  • Nov. 27–28: Auli'i Cravalho

  • Nov. 29–Dec. 1: Gary Sinise

  • Dec. 2–3: TBA

  • Dec. 4–5: Whoopi Goldberg

  • Dec. 6–7: Robin Roberts (new this year)

  • Dec. 8–9: Jason Kelce (new this year)

  • Dec. 10–12: Neil Patrick Harris

  • Dec. 13–14: TBA

  • Dec. 15–16: Lauren Daigle

  • Dec. 17–19: Ralph Macchio

  • Dec. 20–21: Henry Winkler

  • Dec. 22–23: Lacey Chabert

  • Dec. 24–25: Jodi Benson

  • Dec. 26–27: Simu Liu

  • Dec. 28–30: Eva Longoria‍ ‍

A couple of the TBA slots will likely fill in as we get closer, so I'll keep this updated as Disney adds names.

One thing to plan around now: Candlelight dining packages open for booking on October 14, and they're the easiest way to guarantee a seat without the standby scramble. Packages include breakfast, lunch, or dinner at select EPCOT restaurants plus reserved seating for one of the three nightly shows (alcohol included for guests 21+).

If you're building a holiday trip around this (or want me to build one for you), head to thatkatiefath.com/travel and let's get your dining package locked in before October 14 sneaks up on us.‍ ‍

Someday isn't a plan. Today is. 🀍

xoxo,
Katie
