Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026 Kicks Off August 7 — Here's What's New
Spooky season at Walt Disney World is starting earlier than ever this year, and I am SO here for it. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party officially kicks off August 7, 2026 at Magic Kingdom, and Disney has already started rolling out details worth planning around.
What's New This Year
Stitch is taking over the Tomorrowland dance party for 2026, joining Lilo and Angel at the Rockettower Stage for a full-on masquerade — expect a fun, high-energy addition to the Tomorrowland lineup this season. Disney has also teased that new and returning villains may be creeping through the streets, so keep your eyes open as you wander from land to land.
Confirmed Showtimes So Far
If you're the type who likes to build your night around the big moments (same, honestly), here's what's locked in:
Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade — 8:15 PM, with a second performance expected later in the night
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks — 10:00 PM, hosted by Jack Skellington above Cinderella Castle
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular — 9:05 PM, 10:35 PM, and midnight, featuring the Sanderson Sisters at Cinderella Castle
All of these match the pattern from last year, so if you've been to the party before, your general timing strategy should still hold up. Party guests can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 PM, giving you a solid head start before the party officially begins at 7:00 PM.
Party-Exclusive Food, Treats, and Merch
The food and swag are half the fun of MNSSHP, and 2026 is bringing some standouts. New this year is the Headless Horseman Treat — a pumpkin pie tart topped with whipped cheesecake, spiced caramel panna cotta, and marshmallow buttercream styled to look like flames. The returning Ursula Cone from Storybook Treats (wild berry soft-serve with candy coral and citrus cotton candy in a black vanilla cone) remains one of the most photographed treats at the party every year, and it's easy to see why.
You'll also find the fan-favorite Mickey-shaped pumpkin cheesecake and Mickey-shaped cinnamon roll, along with plenty of savory options scattered throughout Main Street and beyond. Trick-or-treat trail stops hand out Mars Wrigley favorites like M&Ms, Snickers, and Starburst, and every guest (yes, adults too) gets a complimentary treat bag if you forget to bring your own.
On the merch side, this year's popcorn bucket lineup includes the Jack Skellington Gravestone Bucket and the new Scary Teddy bucket, both exclusive to the party while supplies last. You'll also find party-exclusive Spirit Jerseys, tees, mugs, tumblers, and collectible pins at the Emporium on Main Street and Star Traders in Tomorrowland — great for grabbing a keepsake from the night.
Why This Matters for Your Trip
MNSSHP is one of the most requested experiences I help families plan for every fall, and for good reason — it's a completely different Magic Kingdom at night. Lower crowds, character meets you won't see any other time of year, and a genuinely magical atmosphere for trick-or-treating with your kids.
