EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival Is Back — Here’s Why It’s One of the Best Times to Visit Disney World
A Disney post on a Wednesday?! What does that have to do with Wellness or What’s Cooking?! LOTS!!!
One of my favorite times of year at Walt Disney World is officially here…
The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival has begun!
If you’ve never experienced EPCOT during this festival, imagine the park completely transformed with stunning gardens, larger-than-life Disney character topiaries, seasonal food booths, live entertainment, and beautiful spring weather.
It’s one of the most beautiful festivals Disney hosts all year — and it’s one I recommend to a lot of my travel clients planning spring trips.
When the Flower & Garden Festival Runs
The 2026 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival runs from March 4 through June 1, giving guests almost three full months to experience everything the festival has to offer.
Even better?
The festival is included with your regular EPCOT park admission, so you don’t need a special ticket to enjoy it.
The Famous Disney Topiaries
One of the most iconic parts of the festival is the Disney character topiaries. Disney’s horticulture team spends months creating these incredible living sculptures made entirely from plants and flowers. You’ll find over 60 character topiaries throughout EPCOT, making them one of the biggest photo opportunities in the park.
Some fan favorites you might spot include:
Belle & Beast in the France Pavilion
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in Germany
Miguel and Dante from Coco in Mexico
Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy
Woody and Bo Peep from Toy Story
Figment in World Celebration
They’re scattered throughout the park so walking around EPCOT during this festival almost feels like a giant Disney garden scavenger hunt.
Outdoor Kitchens: Seasonal Food & Drinks
Just like the Food & Wine Festival, Flower & Garden features Outdoor Kitchens located all around the park.
These booths serve fresh, garden-inspired dishes and specialty drinks that highlight seasonal ingredients.
Some popular items in recent years include:
avocado toast topped with fresh tomatoes
honey-inspired dishes from The Honey Bee-stro
fresh tacos and tostadas
fruit desserts and spring pastries
Of course, there are also festival-exclusive cocktails, beers, and frozen drinks that make strolling the World Showcase even more fun. One of my favorite things to do is simply snack my way around the world while enjoying the flowers and gardens — so see, steps and food = the perfect Wednesday post for yall!
Garden Graze Food Stroll
Speaking of steps and food…. If you love trying new foods, the festival also includes the Garden Graze Food Stroll.
Guests collect stamps in their festival passport by trying select dishes from the Outdoor Kitchens. After completing the challenge, you receive a special festival treat as a reward.
It’s a fun way to encourage people to explore more of the festival.
Live Entertainment: Garden Rocks Concert Series
Another highlight of the festival is the Garden Rocks Concert Series.
Throughout the festival, artists perform live at the America Gardens Theatre in the American Adventure Pavilion.
Past and announced performers include artists like:
Sugar Ray
Rick Springfield
98 Degrees
These concerts are included with park admission and usually happen several nights each week.
Why This Festival Is So Special
While EPCOT hosts several festivals throughout the year, Flower & Garden has a really unique vibe.
The park becomes filled with:
colorful flower displays
themed gardens
Disney topiaries
seasonal food and drinks
live music and entertainment
Even if you’re not a gardening person, it’s hard not to appreciate how beautiful EPCOT becomes during this time of year.
Thinking About Visiting During the Festival?
Spring is honestly one of the best times to visit Walt Disney World. Between the comfortable weather, the Flower & Garden Festival, and longer daylight hours, it’s a fantastic season for exploring the parks.
